Hi! My name is Melwyn Patel, and I’m the Graphic Designer/Design Consultant behind the India-based PaperFox Designs’.
I studied Graphic Design, Animation and Multimedia in the late 90s, after which I worked at various firms, gaining skills and technical knowledge and developing invaluable experience in multiple fields ranging from Logo Design, Brand Identity, Print and Digital media.
My passion and expertise led me to create my design studio, and I have been working with various Organisations and Individuals for the past 20+ years.
I team up with highly talented, professional and reputed Writers, Photographers, Printers and Programming Teams to ensure that the client, no matter how big or small, gets the professional expertise required to help them take their business to the next level.
The inspiration for ‘PaperFox Designs’ came from my daughter, who has a deep passion for foxes and papercrafts.
My approach to my design work is based on paper crafts. Instead of visualising design ideas on a two-dimensional paper surface, I use the paper to create a three-dimensional object in my mind. This enables me to evaluate designs and ideas from different perspectives and dimensions. Hence, the name ‘PaperFox Designs’.
As a versatile and experienced designer, I adapt my design thinking harmoniously with the industry I work for. I tell their story with visuals that resonate with their target audience through simple and practical designs that create lasting impressions.
